Proudly Serving Worsley for Over 70 Years
For more than 70 years, Walkden Legion Club has been a place where the Worsley community comes together. From the very beginning, the club has offered a welcoming environment where people can relax, enjoy entertainment, and celebrate life’s important moments.
Our long history is a testament to the strong community spirit that surrounds us. Generations of families have enjoyed our events, shared memories, and found friendship within our doors. We’re proud to continue this tradition and remain a cornerstone of local life.
More Than Just a Venue
Walkden Legion Club is more than simply a place to meet — it’s a hub of community life. We bring people together through live music, quizzes, bingo, and sporting events, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for all.
Beyond entertainment, we’re here to support life’s milestones. From weddings and christenings to birthdays and wakes, our function room offers the perfect setting. With affordable drinks, friendly staff, and a warm community spirit, we’re proud to be more than just a venue.

Walkden Legion Club has always been dedicated to supporting the local community. For decades, we’ve provided a welcoming space where people of all ages can come together to relax, celebrate, and enjoy quality entertainment. Our goal is to keep traditions alive while offering modern facilities that everyone can enjoy.
We’re proud to play an active role in Worsley life, hosting events that bring neighbours together and providing a venue that families can rely on. With affordable prices and friendly service, our commitment is to remain a trusted part of the community for generations to come.
